◆Privacy Policy

Council for Interpreter’s Quality and Competence (hereinafter referred to as “CIQC”) has established the following privacy policy and will handle personal information appropriately and strictly in accordance with the following privacy policy.

Management of Personal Information
In order to keep personal information accurate and up-to-date, and to prevent unauthorized access, loss, damage, falsification, or leakage of personal information, CIQC will take necessary measures such as maintaining a security system, improving the management system, and thoroughly training personnel in charge, and will implement safety measures.

Purpose of Use of Personal Information
CIQC will not use the personal information for any purpose other than to contact you, provide information, answer your questions, or for the purpose stated at the time the information is provided.

Prohibition of disclosure or provision of personal information to third parties
CIQC will properly manage the personal information entrusted to it and will not disclose personal information to third parties except in the following cases.
– When the person concerned has given their consent
– When CIQC discloses personal information to contractors to whom we outsource its services to provide services requested by the individual
– When disclosure is required by law

Security Measures for Personal Information
CIQC takes all possible security measures to ensure the accuracy and safety of personal information

Reference, Correction, Suspension of Use, and Deletion of Personal Information
If you wish to refer, correct, discontinue, or delete your personal information, we will respond to your request after confirming your identity.

Compliance and Review of Laws, Regulations, and Standards
CIQC will comply with Japanese laws, regulations, and other norms applicable to personal information in its possession, and will review and improve this policy as necessary.
